FUN Fiesta Ideas |
SET THE MOOD: |
Create a fiesta your guests will be sure to remember! Start by hanging colored streamers and balloons around your party space. Add Mexican themed cutouts for an authentic touch. Dress up your tables with brightly colored table covers, and use tissue paper flowers or piñatas for the centerpieces. The brighter the better! |
ALL YOU CAN EAT: |
What is a fiesta without tons of food? Serve a buffet of Mexican favorites such as burritos, corn chips, guacamole, salsa and beans. Why not create a “Make your own Taco” bar with everything to build the perfect taco. Make sure you have enough colorful plates and napkins for guests to visit the buffet more than once. |
SHAKE IT: |
Festive maracas are a must at any fiesta! Let guests show their creative side by decorating their own! Provide one set of solid color maracas for each guest. Create a decorating station complete with inexpensive paint, brushes, glue, glitter and other craft supplies. Have guests take turns decorating their maracas. |
FUN iParty Ideas: |
- Use an empty egg carton to set maracas on to dry.
- Before guests arrive, create a sample set of maracas to inspire them.

FIESTA FUN! |
Have a fiesta that’s FUN for all ages! Start off with some dancing. Have guests learn the Mexican Hat Dance or even the Salsa. A great activity for younger children is Pin the Tail on the Donkey. Of course no fiesta is complete without a traditional burro or Mexican star piñata! |
FUN iParty Ideas: |
- Cut slits in your piñata so it will break easier. Great for younger kids.
- Add raffle tickets to your piñata goodies! Raffle off prizes such as sombreros, ponchos, or Mexican blankets.
