What is the benefit of a "timer remote"?
A timer remote allows you to preset the release of fog. Once you set the timer, you can leave the machine to run and enjoy the event. Machines without a timer require you to manually release the fog by pressing a button each time.
How long can I store extra fog juice?
If you have fog juice left over after Halloween, you can store it for next Halloween or for another upcoming event. Pour left over fog juice back into its original container and close the cap tightly. Store in a cool, dry area away from sunlight.
Check your Fog Fluid!
You should check the level in your fog machine periodically, particularly if you are using a remote timer machine. One of the main causes of a burnt out fogger motor is running the machine dry, without fog juice. The fog juice is not only used to create fog, but also as a lubricant for the pump and motor.
How Long does Fog Juice Usually Last?
Generally, the higher the fog machine wattage, the more fog that can be created in a shorter period of time. One quart of fog juice lasts for approximately 6 hours of intermittent use, or 2-3 hours of continuous use.
Is Fake Fog Safe to Breathe?
Fog juice is made up of a combination of water and a chemical called glycol, which has been found to be safe in a number of studies. It is not considered hazardous and is generally used without problems.
